Shi-Anne's Shan-Tillie Lace and Nemo Shane Tuxedo

Early Spring Wedding in 2011
In May of 2003, a year after we lost our beloved Shi-Anne, my husband brought home a Handsome little Imperial Blue Shih-Tzu. Our young son, having just seen a commercial for the yet to be released cartoon movie "Finding Nemo" quickly said that we should name him "Nemo". So, that is how our wee lad got his first name. His second name is for my childhood doggie by the same name and Tuxedo is for the perfectly groomed snow white Westie owned by the groomer that taught me how to care for my Shih Tzus grooming needs. Nemo has been a lovely addition to our family. He is dual registered ~ AKC and CKC.
In Spring of 2010 I received a wonderful birthday gift from my dad ~ a pretty little girl that I named Shan-Tillie Lace. She is a Brindle and White little girl and ever so sweet as is the nature of the breed. She is my little shadow and watches out for me at every turn. Making sure my feet are warm even in the summer. Tillie's parents were both registered AKC. I have chosen to register her with CKC.
update 5/5/2023 Nemo was 16 years old when he passed in Fall of 2019. We miss him terribly. Tillie was retired (spayed) in 2016. She has been enjoying her time as a grandma and great grandma. She is now 13 years old and is helping to train our new Shih Tzus: Shea-Mus and Em-Ma. Both are Gold and White CKC registered Shih Tzus. We are looking forward to having Shih Tzu puppies later this year 2023/early 2024.
