Early Mornings

Today the puppies got up at about 6:15 and so did I.

We took a 'walk about' with their mom.  Spot is a curious lad... he investigates the cats, who tolerate him, and the guinea fowl as they fly down from their nightly perches.  They instigate a game of chase as Spot comes up to check them out.  They run all over and Spot indulges them by chasing after them... just like daddy!  On the other hand, Diamond stays up by me... being a cautious type, she waits for my word as to if it is ok.  Looking first at what her brother is up to then up to me.  I call for Spot to come... he obliges, "Good Spot".

Then they both potty outside.  "Good Puppies"
They are learning.

Then it was back inside for their morning bath.  They were covered in dew from romping through the grass so it didn't take much to wet them down.  Shampoo, rinse... dry... fluff... back to being utterly adorable!

Diamond and Spot are ready to go Home!

"Diamond" and "Spot" are ready and waiting to make you a Happy Shih Tzu family!

Imperial Blue and White they have a blue almost iridescent quality to their black spotting and blue hue to their skin under those black spots - just like Nemo (Daddy).  Mom has been amazing with this her very first litter.  As I type she is playing around the house encouraging them to romp and run with her and in the next second she lays down to nurse them.  So precious!

Diamond is a sweet petite girl that just loves sitting in my lap.  Ever so daintily she will sit, pressing her face to me and looking up into my eyes.  She is so gentle you are barely aware that she is there.  She loves to be petted, brushed and combed.  Yet, in the next moment, when you put her down to run for a glass of water, she becomes this playful little tag-a-long that follows your every footstep to make sure you are always near.  She is ever so sweet.

Diamond has an almost all black face with a smallish white blaze.  She got her temporary name because when she was first born she had a diamond like pattern separating the white spot on her forehead from the white on her neck.  As her fur has grown you can no longer see it, but she sure is a Gem!  She sports a white collar, a black saddle and all white tail with a black spot on her rump.  White legs and underside.  She has a smaller frame and most demonstrates traits like her mother, Tillie, who weighs about 9 pounds.  Tillie is registered with CKC.

Spot is, well, he is a boy.  And as delicate as his sister is he is feisty.  Well, they both are when playing, but when I put him up in my lap he is loving on me as much as I'm loving on him, if not more!  He loves to run and romp and play and seems to be the main instigator of FUN!

Spot has a white muzzle and blaze on his forehead.  His body is almost all white but for a spot on his side, which is how he got his temporary name.  His rump and tail, as it starts, is black with a white tip.  When he was born he was almost twice the size of his sister.  Thus we all call him (deep voice) "Big Spot".  LOL  He is most like his dad in lovingly playful personality and body style.  Daddy, Nemo, weighs about 15 pounds.

Nemo is both AKC and CKC registered.  We purchased him from a breeder in TN before moving to MO.  She told us that his grandfather was a Champion.  Though I never had the opportunity to show him he does have wonderful Shih Tzu qualities/confirmation.

Diamond and Spot have been raised in our home not in a kennel situation.  They were born in a whelping box under the crib and moved to a playpen in the foyer area so that they may socialize with everyone.  We have 5 children ages 15 to 2 mos old.  The middle one is 7 and differently-abled mainly crawling on the floor.  The puppies have a sense of knowing and are wonderful with him.  When we have had older visitors they happily curl up in their laps and enjoy a good petting.  These little ones would make as wonderful a therapy dog for elderly or differently-abled as they would a family dog.  We are asking $350 for each of them.  If you are interested please send me a message by filling out the contact form.  Be sure to leave your phone number (including area code) as well as the best time and or day to call you.  We will be happy to meet you anywhere from Springfield, MO to Mountain Home, AR to West Plains, MO as we travel there weekly to make deliveries.
Thank You!
